September Wishlist: 6 Things on my Radar this Month
/Happy Labor Day, fashion friends! Hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend! Now that we are into a new month, I thought I would drop my monthly wishlist and let y’all know what items I’ve been drooling over. The fact that it’s September (my birthday month) and the holidays are right around the corner is truly wild. Very soon the hot weather will slowly turn into fall. We can look forward to wearing our sweaters and boots again. Our cozy wardrobe can come out of its hibernation once more. What a dream!
*Stylist Tip: I recommend to my clients to start incorporating some fall pieces with your summer items by mid September and fully switching your wardrobe to fall by October. If y’all have any questions, feel free to comment below or email/DM me to learn more.*
Here are the six items I’m pining after this month. My roundup features a few transitional pieces you can wear now or later. It’s all in the way you style it!

From left to right…
Doen top- I’ve been eyeing this top for most of the summer. But after my recent trip to LA, I was on my way to the Brentwood Country Mart and saw a woman wearing it walking down the street. And as luck would have it, the Doen store at the BCM had it in my size to try on. It was just as amazing on as I would have thought! I haven’t taken the plunge yet, but think I’m going to treat myself to this shirt for my birthday later this month. So cute!
Sezane crossbody bag- This bag is the perfect black crossbody bag. I saw it in store this week and the purse is even more beautiful in person. This is a true “goes with everything” accessory. You will be able to wear it for years to come!
J.Crew bucket bag- Another bag I’ve been dying for is this suede purse. It is reminiscent to The Row’s park tote, but at a fraction of the price. I know you’ve probably heard me mention this a bunch already this season, but it’s because the bag is that good! The brown color is perfect for fall. This chocolate shade is a fresh way to wear your neutral accessories instead of the obvious black or nude!
Reformation skirt- I haven’t wanted a mini skirt in forever. But for some reason, I see myself gravitating to outfits that feature mini skirts and knee high boots with sweaters. I am constantly pinning these kinds of looks on Pinterest. So thought it would be a good idea to grab one of my own to be able to emulate my fav outfit combo for fall!
Sezane trench coat- I’ve been wanting a traditional trench for as long as I can remember. Ever since I saw Mary Kate & Ashley in the movie, Winning London, that was the quintessential look for fall to me. Every wardrobe needs a trench coat! It’s time for me to invest!
La Ligne sweater- This stripe sweater is the perfect weight for the season. Not too heavy, but warm enough to keep you cozy this fall when the temps start to drop. It is a slightly cropped style that is perfect for your high waisted bottoms. I particularly want to pair this sweater with the Reformation skirt above and my black knee high boots. I’m already imagining all the ways I can wear it. That’s how I know it’s meant to be a new addition to my wardrobe!
