WHAT TO PACK: San Antonio Travel Guide

Happy Monday, babes! I just got back from a weekend in my hometown, San Antonio, TX. I had a wonderful time in the city with friends & family! Usually this time of year, you are looking at 100+ degree weather. Somehow, I lucked out this trip and the temperature never got above 90 degrees! Still hot obviously, but nowhere near the usual highs. Phew!

That being said, I wanted to create an outfit packing guide for y’all in case you find yourself heading to the Alamo City between now and Labor Day. I, also, included my tips on where to stay & eat while on your trip. Comment below if you have any questions. Hope y’all enjoy this SA Travel Guide!

WHAT TO WEAR

Going to Dinner

Since it’s summertime, choose easy silhouettes in breathable fabrics (like cotton or linen) to look cute even in the scorching temps. Loving this color-block look with a pop of red!

Touring the City

If you’re running around town, shorts and sneakers are your best bet to stay cool during the day. This stripe button down adds some polish to this casual look!

Pool Day Vibes

Spend the day by the pool in this chic ensemble! Whether you’re relaxing with a cocktail in hand or you’re spending time with your family, you’re going to be the best dressed.

WHERE TO STAY

My friend and I stayed here on Saturday night and I was blown away! The staff took such great care of us and thought of every detail. Located in Pearl, you will be surrounded by so many places to eat, drink, & shop right outside the hotel’s doors. Trust me, this is the place to be in SA!

WHERE TO EAT

This is a San Antonio staple! I have been going here forever. It hits every single time! Order a margarita while you start your meal with queso. I love their chicken flautas and nachos, but you really can’t go wrong whatever you end up choosing. It’s an institution for a reason!

This was hands down one of my favorite meals I’ve had in quite some time! I highly recommend their mozzarella with garlic toast appetizer, as well as their soppresata & tomato pizza. Such an incredible meal!
